Frequently Asked Questions
Come to your extension appointment with clean, dry hair. Reinstalls cannot be performed on oily or dirty hair.
I am Master Certified in EasiHair Pro’s low-tension methods and exclusively use their 100% cuticle-intact Remy human hair for all my extension needs. I specialize in weft extensions, sewn into the hair using an anchor row (commonly referred to as ‘hand-tied’ extensions) and EasiHair Pro’s Tape Row technique. I also offer traditional tape-in extensions and the undetectable sewn method, which delivers results comparable to ‘Invisible Bead Extensions.’ The method selected for you will be customized based on your hair density, texture, and lifestyle.
I offer a 15-minute grace period for all clients. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and a ‘no-show’ fee could apply. I completely understand that unexpected delays happen, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need to discuss any exceptions.
Extensions require maintenance every 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the method selected to suit your hair density, texture, and lifestyle. Maintenance appointments include complete removal, a trim of your natural hair, and reinstallation.
My cancellation policy allows you to make changes up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time. If you cancel or need to reschedule within 48 hours, you will be responsible for 50% of your service total. For cancellations within 24 hours, 100% of your service total will be charged. These fees will be processed using the card on file, and any unpaid balances must be resolved before booking future appointments. That said, I completely understand that life happens! If you need to discuss your situation further, please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can discuss it further.
EasiHair pro offers 4 different length options: 14-16″,18-20″, 22-24″ and 26-28″ tapered to maximize the blend between your extensions and your natural hair!
I do not recommend using hot tools over 350. Using a heat protectant on damp hair before blow drying and a heat protectant when using hot tools will help prevent heat damage. Heat and dehydration is the #1 killer of hair extensions.
The beads I use in my handtied extension applications are silicone lined beads that are latex-tree, safe, and available in a variety of sizes for comfort and support to a variety of hair densities, as well as a variety of shades, making them undetectable in your natural hair.
Right now, I am only accepting clients in the chair at Refinery Salon in Madison. The address is 1029 US-51 Madison, MS.
Consultations require dedicated time and attention, which ensures that I can provide a thorough assessment and personalized plan for each client. To secure this time, a deposit is required. If you choose to schedule a service following your consultation, the deposit will be applied toward your total service cost. However, if you decide not to move forward, the deposit will serve as compensation for the time spent during the consultation.
Time is valuable. This deposit is to hold your appointment time and will be credited towards your scheduled service at the time of your appointment. If you cancel without rescheduling within the 48 hour cancellation window, your deposit will be forfeited.
Not at all! As long as the correct method for your hair density, texture and lifestyle is used, and the installation is performed by a certified stylist with proper home care, extensions will not cause damage to your natural hair. If you have experienced an improper installation, don’t worry! I will perform a series of assessments to ensure you are a suitable candidate for our services before moving forward.
